“hacked” Cassie nude pics: no, Cassie shaved her head

Monday, May 25th, 2009

With the exception of the surprising release of those “hacked” Cassie nude pics, this is the most shocking thing she has done… Cassie shaved her head recently, it didn’t feel like Britney Spears bald, simply because Britney Spears was really insane at the time! Cassie shaving one side of her head was meant, she “Twittered“, to be seen as “Something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR“.

She even makes sure it looks freshly shorn at all times: “I get it touched up by a barber every three days”, Cassie recently told Women’s Wear Daily.

Do you think she looks better now our before? You’re the only judge ;)

Wilkinson Sword

Wilkinson Sword

Today, I like to write a post about a great razor company: Wilkinson Sword. Wilkinson Sword, founded in London in 1772, was first manufacturing swords, and then started to produce different kind of gardening tools and shaving accessories like razors and razor blades. Wilkinson Sword has also manufactured in the past guns, bayonets, and other objects such as typewriters, garden shears, scissors, and motorcycles. Wilkinson Sword has manufactured all its ranges of products in three UK sites over its history: in Chelsea and Acton next to London, Cramlington in Northumberland and Bridgend in Wales, where they made gardening tools. In 2000, an executive decision was made to close its razor plant in the UK and consolidated its growing production in Germany. (more…)

The secret of Gillette Fusion revealed

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Watch Professor Regan’s…Health Spa tonight (Thursday 7th May) at 8pm on BBC Two.

Since Gillette’s first safety razor in 1901, the development in shaving technology has been astounding. But have you ever wondered just how the original single blade safety razor has developed into a must-have bathroom gadget with a 5 blade shaving surface? Well tonight you can find out.

For the first time ever, Gillette have thrown open the doors and invited BBC Two’s Professor Lesley Regan into its Global Research and Development Laboratory in Reading – birthplace of the award winning Fusion razor – to find out just how much science goes into the development of the humble razor and discover why more than 600 million men around the world use Gillette every day.

Don’t forget to watch!

Five things you might not know about Gillette Fusion:

1. Fusion’s blade edges are thinner than a surgeon`s scalpel.

2. Blade manufacturing uses more welds than many car manufacturers.

3. Fusion is protected by over 70 patents.

4. Fusion was tested by over 10,000 men before it was launched.

5. Every blade has multiple coatings to provide strength and comfort.
